KFC is one of our fine organizations that support the progress of chicken and poetry. Thomas Fucaloro has won our Lord Byron Biscuit Grant. Thomas is happy...so what this means is that Thomas was chopped into 68 small pieces and mailed to 68 families where they tasted Thomas and then gave feed back to our KFC representatives and Lord Byron. So what we have here is the New Honey Barbecue Bucket Fucaloro with wings and thighs you can really rip off.....oh.....and Thomas likes poetry too.

Bob Hart likes the silences and then the birds. Says he likes the dingy city. Old now, he used to walk blocks and blocks, miles and miles of it enjoying the differences, but also the rivers’ edge – both rivers. He learned something about writing poetry with a very good teacher in high school. Later wrote poetry as a substitute for painting. At some point came onto the NY poetry circuit – stayed in it, is in it still. Like other poets you’ll hear, has been featured in various places. Is in 3 or 4 anthologies and his own chapbook ACROBAT.

Jean Lehrman came from a peach pit someone threw out in the alley. her "father", who was an artist, picked it up to use in a collage, and was surprised when a baby popped out. her mother loved it when the baby talked in poetry, and started writing it down. later jean learned to write it down herself, and she did this frequently until the alley called her back. she stopped writing for 20 years, then 3 years ago began again. she has since featured at the ear inn, the bowery poetry club, cornelia street cafe and most other places and hopes there will be some new places soon.

Trystette’s new album, The Deepest Part of My Soul, is singer/songwriter Carrie Beehan's second album. Fronting 1990's Berlin satirical band Cadillac Crooning and the Berlin electronica duo Tryst (BMG/Universal), Beehan departed from Berlin's Chamaeleon Variete stage in the late 1990s lauded as "an exceptional artist whose high-class talent as singer and performer made it a joy for us to engage her". Previously featured on MTV and international radio, Beehan has lived in five countries with a diverse renaissance background in music, film, paint and theater reflective in her lilting, beguiling & intrinsic lyrics mixed in a techno pastiche of urban & angelic textured vocals.
